Cobra Daytona Coupe - engine & transmission presentation at 1/8 scale
On demand of customers, who have the Cobra Daytona model, I have built the engine and its transmission as it is normally fitted into the model, but the transmission cannot be seen when in and under the models’ body. Many parts are made of brass, steel or aluminum. The engine can be seen on the finished model when the hood is opened, but presented as it is now, the intrinsic details can more easily be scrutinized and admired. To give an idea of the care put into such model; one double carburetor contains 42 different pieces and there are four of them, one transmission shaft has no less than 33 single pieces, here there are three of them.
