It is an old and rare kit of the Mercedes-Benz W196R that won the French Grand Prix at Reims in 1954 driven by Juan Manuel Fangio. Some corrections were needed on the fences and a number of details had to be machined to fit the model with the desired precision to render the real atmosphere.
